Actually, our lessons start at 10 but we, namely Pei Jie and me, wanted to inquire about our laundry first. Then finally, we left for the back alley to purchase 2 pails.
The store lady recognised us from the day before again. One pail cost 11 yuan and we managed to bargained it down to 8 yuan each.
My pail filled with my laundry.
We went back after passing the shop our clothing to wake Hui Miang up. In the meantime, I got the tag for my pail. The storekeeper there told us to come back after 12 and for washing and drying our clothes, it costs 11.50 yuan.
Either way, it can be read as 08 or 80. I got a very symmetrical number which I think is lucky.
The name of the shop. Translated will mean, "Little Deer's Laundry". Cute name.
Apparently, they were chatting about the artists and their skills back at the park.
Went back to dorm with Pei Jie and ZeeMin, both rather busy. Zee Min bought some pancakes that kind of resembles Roti Prata and even tastes like it too. I basically pigged out then.
Back to class and we learnt the simulation software- Flexsim. It's useful but I find it somewhat tedious. Also, my laptop could not run the program properly and so I had to share it with Zee Min.
Round of applause for our deputy principal after that enlightening speech- I feel like eating Laksa thanks to him now.
Assignment 1 is served now. Seriously, what on earth is with all the tools. Amazing...
Ended off with the quiz again. And as usual, I read through the entire notes and understood the basic but as usual, the questions are always different and is not easy to locate the answers. My head is always stuck.
There seemed to be quite a few mistakes with this paper...
After class, I stayed back with Mr Wong and managed to get some songs that are classified under 'sentimental hits'. Thank you, Mr Wong!!!
Then, Kathy called and told me to confirm meeting as I have to repair my laptop.
I went back to my dorm to rest before getting her sms and went back out with my laptop bag. Along the way, ran into the birthday girl, Joey and Charlotte. Wished Joey Happy Birthday.
I then received a call from Queenie who I managed to see and waved to her while still on the phone. She said she can't see me and I am taller then her. Right. Irony. Amy was also there as we went to visit their lecturer who could repair laptops.
However, he could not repair mine as he do not have the required tools and so, we have to go to a decent computer repair shop. I was like, "Great, it's not around this area and worst part, I need it fixed within the day,"
Nevertheless, I remained cheerful because I could joke with the two 大姐姐 and so, three of us proceeded to the canteen whereby I got some noodles that were so spicy that I was slowed down in my meal a lot.
And there, I was like learning more about their lifestyle as well as inquiring about tourists spots. I wanted to go see the 熊猫(pandas) in their zoo. I must see them with my own eyes after all.
They are fans of High School Musical franchise as well. Queenie sent me the songs via blue tooth and I somehow sung them.Queenie got excited and insisted that we form a group for the karaoke competition that will be held in a few weeks from now. I was like, "But I am not that good."
Went back to my hostel only to see Joey and Charlotte at my dorm door. Joey was holding a bouquet of flowers and invited us to celebrate her birthday with the group.
In the end, I was literally dragged into Amy and Queenie's room. Yep. I heard much about hostel rooms and so, I was expecting this type. The poor girls had to refrain me from snapping their room in that condition.
As we came back from our laundry, we saw them hanging their blankets out in the sun. For the record, the temperature for this afternoon was at 20 degrees. The highest since I've been here.
Before lessons, Mr Loh Wai Tuck was there to chat with the above group. I was listening in as I was close to them.

Xiang Yu happens to be taking pictures as well causing Xin Hui (in pink) to go, "这里有人在拍照,那里也有人拍照". (There's one taking photos here and another over there taking pictures).

Main VIP's (Very important people) have arrived to meet us. Introducing the guy in grey- Ngee Ann's Deputy principal. The one behind him is said to be in charge of overseas exchange program and lastly, a professor who made this trip possible.

See, it looks nice but really spicy as it is. Nevertheless, all the beef have been gobbled up by me. I shall spare no beef!

Their shoe shelf on their balcony. Hostel life is really tough.
See, they had it same as us. Only that they have to live like that for 2 years compared to us.
Their shelf cramped with books and necessities. As I was taking this picture, a quick hand flashed before me to stop me from taking the photo. Come on, please?
Kathy the cook. She cooked noodles in this pot and I even managed a bite of it.
They are really a lot more independent then I am. Compared to them, I seem like a bratty and pampered little sister. I truly admired them for surviving in such harsh conditions.
Amy and Queenie had to go and study and so they walked me back to my room. They are all so sweet as they kept reminding me to be more careful.
At around 9 plus the others came back. I saw Hui Miang covered with cake and I was a little relieved I never attended the party as it is.
Well, done at last!

Queenie is really a 仙女(fairy). She has demonstrated magical powers by casting moonlight on the trees. I love this picture.
